ATHIRAN - BOUNDARYLESS LOVE
ATHIRAN - BOUNDARYLESS LOVE
Athiran is a creative work directed by vivek. The story develops a mysterious plot which was completely built around just two places; THE ROYAL HOSPITAL and THE KOVILAKAM, the ambiance created by these two places was more than impressive. The Royal Hospital resembles to an old beautiful mansion built in British period, deep inside a forest, was just perfect enough to provide a psycho-mystique-ambience to the development of the plot.
The story begins by briefing of Nandhu as Avarachan to Fahad Faasil about the conditions of the hospital. The story was further casted by Fahadh Faasil as MK Nair, Sai Pallavi as Nithya. Fahadh enacted the role of an inspection doctor where Sai Pallavi enacted the role of person with autistic capabilities. She had not spoken nothing more than two words all along the film, but I believe that’s more than enough. Atul Kulkarni as Dr. Benjamin Diaz enacted the role as an expert doctor in erasing people’s memory using hypnotism, he demonstrated the same by hypnotizing Fahad Faasil in three seconds at the introductory portion of the film. Renji Panicker as Jayanarayana Varma enacted the role of Nithyas father who loved and cared her all along when the world spoke otherwise. He even taught her the martial art Kallari, which helped Nithya very much. The five other patients in the hospital behaved different from a normal psycho hospital, like one having the ability to draw things which are meant to happen in the future.
The storyline was further supported by background music along with three songs by P. S. Jayahari. The story holds a surprise at the end when Prakash Raj enters into the storyline, which I would like everyone to find out for themselves by watching the movie.
